Kathy Williams is a dynamic speaker, yoga therapist and energy worker who has worked with masters in spiritual, yoga, and indigenous healing traditions on three continents. Kathy began her yoga studies while dancing professionally as a ballerina. Certified as a Yoga Therapist, a Yoga Instructor, and Ayurvedic-Yoga Specialist, Kathy’s five + years of formalized yoga training gave her the skills to adapt practices to the unique condition, needs and interests of individuals and groups, including those with specific structural or physiological conditions and chronic disease. Kathy is a certified practitioner of Ancient Hawaiian Healing, Hypnotherapy and Coaching, as well as a Master-Practitioner and Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. These skill-sets enable her to see each individual and choose the tools most effective to meet their needs. Kathy has taught workshops on Ayurveda, Yoga, and NLP, throughout the U.S., lectured at universities and hospitals, and presented stress reduction programs in various retreat centers and hospitals. On Maui, Kathy maintains a private practice and teaches the NIH proven Yoga for Chronic Back Pain series at Kaiser. She truly combines the best of ancient wisdom with modern science in her clinical practice, writings, lectures, and retreats.
